“Let him that would move the world, first move himself.” This quote from Socrates holds more meaning today than ever before, and no one understands that better than Holly Knight. People move from place to place with great purpose, whether connecting to something greater than themselves or escaping from a harsh reality to a heavenly retreat. Holly has helped people reach those goals beginning with the airline industry and now through real estate. In doing so, she understands one thing…major life transitions involve much more than a move.
Holly was born in Seattle, Washington, and moved to Texas when she was young. She learned about building wealth from her entrepreneurial parents when she was just thirteen years old. She became a bridal coordinator for her family business, and later worked in her father’s construction business. After graduating from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Holly decided to experience the travel life, and spent the next 20 years as a flight attendant. She visited countless places worldwide, and met people from many different and amazing cultures.
Always keen to business maneuvers, she noticed how airlines bought properties for their crew to stay in to avoid renting. That’s when she realized the impact of owning real estate. That knowledge inspired her to use her creative side to start a successful staging and decorating business for commercial real estate, and five years later, she got her real estate license. She knew she could be a great advocate for her clients because she understood the full scope of what it meant to make a big move, especially to a new place. Making any major life transition like that encompassed so much more than just the move itself. That’s how she became known for her mantra, “More Than A Move.”
Today, Holly specializes in helping people who are moving to the North Bay area to seek more space, a new adventure, and peace of mind. She’s perfectly suited for those making a major life shift to revitalize and restore a connection to nature. She has vast expertise in vineyards, rural land, and off grid properties for those seeking a sustainable lifestyle. She also has in-depth knowledge of the North Bay area, including land development and income producing properties. She’s a Luxury Homes agent with advanced negotiation tactics essential to serving the luxury market, and is known for creative problem solving skills and remaining positive and poised throughout the journey.
When Holly isn’t helping clients, you can find her spending time with her kids or going on her next adventure, almost always with her German Shepherd, Karma. She has a bucket list that spans across continents. From swimming with the jellyfish in Palau to sailing through the Caribbean, Holly knows that every move is a new experience to enjoy. She has definitely found her place in helping others move seamlessly throughout their journey…not just from one place to another, but from one phase of life to the next.
Living in San Francisco for 30 years, purchasing multiple homes, and raising a family there, Alicia knows that it really is a place where dreams come true. The event that showed her the true benefit of becoming a homeowner happened when she and her husband bought their first property in San Francisco in 1996, and one year later the property value skyrocketed! This made her realize the value of investing and owning your own properties.
Since then, Alicia continued to advocate the virtues of homeownership to anyone who would listen and more than a decade later, inspired by her clear love of real estate, she decided to go into the real estate business in order to help other people achieve their ambitions of being homeowners themselves. She knows how exciting looking for your new house is and loves to experience that with every person she works with. She is passionate about her work, works diligently to fit your needs, and is blessed to be able to speak both English and Spanish. Being a firm believer that you can succeed at whatever you set your mind to, she adopts this philosophy in her work as well as her personal life.
In her free time she enjoys being with her family, cooking, reading biography books, watching real estate shows, and listening to motivational podcasts whenever she drives. She has two children who are now in their late 20s. She is currently living her dream--now it’s time to begin yours!
