Bonnie Johnston’s expertise in real estate goes beyond the normal agent. She knows how to overcome obstacles, negotiate offers on houses, work with title companies and permit departments, and has many connections in the industry that help her find buyers and sellers quickly. She knows how to stay connected with you by returning your calls and emails quickly and with the correct information you are looking for.

Bonnie has been in real estate for over 20 years as an investor and working for a wholesale mortgage company. She has bought and sold over $13 million in property in Sonoma County and Sacramento County. She has worked with the county of Sonoma on many permit projects such as land splitting, room additions, and complete home renovations.

Bonnie was born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA, Sonoma County. She is a graduate with honors from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Public Relations. She frequently travels to Los Angeles and is familiar with real estate in that area and San Francisco as well.

As far as the wine industry goes, Bonnie has worked there for many years as an on-sale representative for a wine distributor in Sacramento for wineries. She sold wines, Sake, and champagnes to restaurants, hotels, and country clubs. Some of her wineries were Gallo, BV, Montevina, Sutter Home, Villa Mt. Eden, and Chateau Ste. Michelle. She understands vineyard properties and how profits and losses are structured.

Bonnie has been working for various large corporations in both Santa Rosa, Sacramento, and the San Francisco Bay Area. That line of work has provided California State LEED / CalGreen mandatory annual recycling reporting and mandated recycling needs for new construction sites. She understands the current Cal Green/LEED laws on new commercial and residential housing.

Bonnie is a loving single mother of a beautiful 10-year-old daughter, 12-year-old amazing autistic son, and a 20-year-old son on the Dean’s List Sonoma State. "Things that she loves are outdoor activities with her children, eating at a great restaurant or a coffee shop, and occasionally a special overnight trip to San Francisco.

In the community, Bonnie does a lot for those homeless and is a member of Homeless Action group and Faithhouse.org. She donates her time and items to those during the winter and summer months when there are extreme temperatures. Also, she advocates for ideas that would help those less fortunate.

If you are looking for a “well-rounded” agent who knows the in-and-outs of everything to do with buying and selling a house or commercial property, Bonnie knows it all. She will help you until the end and she will fight for you to get you what you want. She will listen to what you need and be there when you call, text, or email. You will be glad you got to know her as an agent and, then, friend.
